Hey guys, long time no journal, huh?

I have uploaded a bunch of new sheets, and I would like for you all to at least give Armageddon-Rising a moment of your time, check it out, all that fun stuff. It is a new 'apocalypse' style RP group that balletvamp and I have been fleshing out for a few months with the aid of friends like mr-romantic and Akkutsune. So definitely give it a look, please and thanks? <3



Now, on to the point of this journal.

A friend of mine, Kaj ( kajpuffprince ) is having a bit of a rough time in life right now. Her dog, a totally derpy sweetheart, Doc Holiday, has been having some fainting spells, basically nothing good, and they have been becoming more frequent. Now, as you may or may not know, vet bills are expensive as hell, and as any money gained is short to spare, Kaj and her family have not been able to take Doc to a vet to get him checked out and find out what is happening with the poor precious pup.

Kaj has turned to opening "simple commissions for cookies, bar cookies, and paper craft Scandinavian stars as well as geodesic ball ornaments", and I can preach to you forever and a day about the merits and marvels of her work with these things (seriously, her baking is TO DIE FOR). All the money raised would be going to helping Doc in getting to a vet and getting diagnosed. If you have a pet, you know how crushing it can be to see your pet in pain, and I'm sure you can imagine the pain that it would be, and the fear it would cause, to see your pet in pain or ill and not know what is causing it, or how to help.

Please, please, PLEASE give it a look guys. I know I have a whole lot of good hearted people following me, and if you can spare the money, I urge you to. You're doing it for a sweet derpy dog and his sweet, derpy family, that's major karma points.

I have a significantly busier con season this year, and that is both exciting and yet mildly terrifying to me(more my wallet). Thankfully, none of these fall before I am graduated, whoohoo /o/

My first con, after G-Anime (AND AFTER I TRAIN DOWN TO CHICAGO TO VISIT MY ZUS, MY BELGIUM, MY PARTNER IN CRIME, Alistaere IN APRIL), will be Anime North'11 in Toronto, and then nothing again until Otakon in late July in Baltimore. After that, and rounding out the con season for anime/gaming/et cetera will be Fan Expo in late August in Toronto. Fiiiinally, I have a break until Early October when balletvamp and I will be going to SALUTE TO SUPERNATURAL 2011 TORONTO. You have no goddamn idea how excited I am to go to a Supernatural con. Holy shit. Not only is Jared Padalecki going to be there. Not only is Jensen Ackles going to be there. NO NO. Misha Collins is going to be there soon. The Holy Trinity, Team Free Will, all in that city an hour down the 401 from me.

Fuck yeah. I am going.

BUT I COULD GO ON FOR A WHILE ABOUT SALUTE TO SUPERNATURAL, SO, UH, LET'S MOVE ON TO MY COSPLAY PLANS FOR AN, OTA AND FANEX, JA?

Anime North 2011 (May 27-29, Toronto, ON, Canada)
-Sebastian Michaelis (Kuroshitsuji)
-Fai D. Flowright (Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle)
-Netherlands (Axis Powers Hetalia) - TENTATIVE

Now, the beauty of this con is the following - my darling balletvamp is coming up from Boston to go to this con That is awesome sauce news, no? So we will be cosplaying Sebastian and Grell together, as well as, maybe, with mr-romantic as everyone's favourite destructive chef, Bard. We will also be cosplaying Fai and Chii together, which, aahhh is gonna be amazing. My all time favourite anime character and (I think) her close to all time favourite anime character 8)

While we haven't decided yet if we will do a day of their normal outfits, we are probably doing a day of Nihon Country!Style cosplay with Tar as Kuro-riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiin 8). Tar is most likely going to spend part of the day with her left arm tucked against her body to simulate Kurogane's missing arm, and then we'll slap a costume piece of some sort on it for the mechanical arm! Kitty will do Chii in a gooooooorgeous pink kimono (Yes Kitty, I am gonna share with the class - THIS KIMONO: a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto… - isn't she gonna be prettyyyyy? *u* )

The only issue, is, uh, me finding Fai's Shunraiki OVA kimono, or like... Yes. Because I am hopeless at sewing. Hopeless. I am hoping I can find one... Like this: images-anime.mikomi.org/images… SO IF ANYONE HAS ANY IDEAS... 8) ... 8)))

This will be another long ass drive down to Baltimore, but this time I will have XNeverConformX and ClementineErased (as well as MAYBE MAYBE MAYBE mr-romantic ) in the car down with me, which means, hey, I won't have to pay out the ass, AND, this time, I will make sure to not, you know, catch a speeding ticket. I WILL BE A GOOD CHRIS AND GO THE AMERICAN FLAVOURED SPEED LIMIT.

The other thing is aaaahhhhh this is when I will get to debut my Spirit cosplay and I will be doing it with my zus, Alistaere who will be cosplaying Azusa with me for a bit maybe I think yes 8)

And yes! I have a mafiatalia group for this con 8) It, so far, consists of Alistaere, aisucafe,  kajpuffprince, ClementineErased and XNeverConformX as well as myself, as Belgium, Japan, Prussia, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Netherlands - most likely there are a shit load more than I just named, involved XD

Either I am strong, or the people I choose to carry around are /really light/.

I may also choose to complete my 'secret' cosplay for this con, as, hey, Fan Ex doesn't have a weapons check so I wouldn't have to worry about my prop making me have to stand in line for x amount of time for a zip tie of a-ok-ness.
